The 29-year-old actress and resident New Yorker \u2013 recently seen in FX’s The Bear<\/i> and the Sony Pictures Classics feature Oh, Hi! \u2013 <\/i>was joined by close family, film industry friends and collaborators to celebrate the city where in 2014 her pursuit to act professionally began, and 11 years later where Molly will soon gear up to film her next feature in the tristate area.<\/p>\n

Molly’s parents and close friends Daniel Liu<\/b>, <\/i>actor known for\u00a0Paranoid Park, Untraceable, <\/i>and Portlandia <\/i>and screenwriter Karina Ansley<\/b>, <\/i>recognized for projects including\u00a0We Are Okay <\/i>and\u00a0Oh, Hi!, <\/i>were amongst the intimate group gathered in the Harold S. Vanderbilt Penthouse<\/b> at InterContinental New York Barclay<\/b> as Molly gears up to film her next feature in the tri-state area.<\/p>\n

Touches included a soundtrack of Frank Sinatra songs, reminiscent of the golden age of cinema, and a ‘Big Apple’<\/i> inspired dessert. Molly’s career came full circle earlier this summer when her latest film, Oh, Hi!<\/i>, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival after initially screening at Sundance.<\/p>\n
