LAS VEGAS<\/span><\/span>, Sept. 20, 2025<\/span><\/span> \/PRNewswire\/ — Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.<\/span> and Mayweather Promotions LLC\u00a0is being sued for $1.2 million<\/span> by Vegas Auto Gallery for nonpayment, despite a legally binding confession of judgement acknowledging Mayweather owes the dealership for the purchase of a luxury vehicle on July 3<\/span>, 2025.<\/p>\n

In a complaint filed in District Court in Clark County, Nevada<\/span> on September 19, 2025<\/span>, attorneys from Clark Hill<\/span> argued on behalf of Vegas Auto Gallery that Mayweather purchased four vehicles from the dealership on July 3, 2025<\/span>, through Mayweather Promotions LLC for a total of $2,250,000<\/span>, but never paid for them.<\/p>\n

Mayweather subsequently returned three of the vehicles and entered into a settlement agreement for purchase of a fourth. \u00a0As part of the settlement agreement, Mayweather and Mayweather Promotions LLC acknowledged the enforceability of the settlement agreement and the confession of judgment, agreeing not to challenge either in the event of a breach of the agreement.<\/p>\n

“Our filing speaks for itself.\u00a0 Despite Mr. Mayweather buying the vehicles, tendering checks, and executing purchase agreements, he refused to pay for the vehicles,” Michael Cristalli<\/span>, attorney for Vegas Auto Gallery, said.<\/p>\n

Mayweather documented his purchase of the vehicles by posting video and images on social media channels with approximately 29.3 million followers.\u00a0 He subsequently returned three of the vehicles and entered into a settlement agreement for purchase of the fourth and then disparaged the dealership and its owner, despite the confession of judgement, after refusing payment.<\/p>\n

Pursuant to the terms of a confession of judgment, Floyd Mayweather Jr.<\/span> and Mayweather Promotions LLC confessed to a signed judgment for money due to Vegas Auto Gallery.\u00a0 The amount of the judgement is $1,200,000.00<\/span>.<\/p>\n

“Vegas Auto Gallery extended multiple courtesies to Mr. Mayweather.\u00a0 After missing two previous deadlines he promised to make a payment by close of business on September 18<\/span>, 2025.\u00a0 Mr. Mayweather also acknowledged the enforceability of the settlement agreement and the “Confession of Judgment” and agreed not to legally challenge either in the event he breached the agreement.”<\/p>\n

“Mr. Mayweather’s attempt to avoid a debt by filing frivolous claims will be met with a Motion to Dismiss, and a request for sanctions as well as attorney’s fees.\u00a0 Vegas Auto Gallery will exercise its legal remedies to enforce the judgment, and all damages associated with Mr. Mayweather’s failure to pay,” Cristalli said.<\/p>\n

Mayweather has a public history of legal disputes for nonpayment for goods and services according to court filings and press reports.<\/p>\n
